Sandy Opsomer became a hair stylist and make up artist in the Bay Area 20 years ago. She relocated to Sydney, Australia with her husband in the late 1980's and welcomed the opportunity to further her studies abroad. After studying and graduating from the noted Advanced Make Up Academy in Sydney, she accepted a teaching position with the academy.

Sandy worked in the Australian film and television industry for six years before returning to the United States. During that time, she worked with several well-known actors, including Russell Crowe. After returning to the U.S. she startedd her own skin care and make up business in San Rafael, California.
